About This Position

Position title: Manager II, Board Engagement & Giving

Location: United States | (Hybrid)
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in development studies, fundraising, business management, or other related areas.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in fundraising, board development, or strategic engagement
  • Minimum of 3 years of management/supervisory experience
  • Extensive experience working with institutional or private donors
  • Experience working with senior leadership, boards, and volunteers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required
  • Experience working in the field of development and humanitarian programming
  • Non-Profit management and supervisory experience.  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated success and proven track record in cultivating, soliciting, and closing of major gifts
  • Familiarity with international development and philanthropic strategy
  • Proficient in using donor and board databases (ClearView, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Strategic thinker and persuasive communicator
  • Exceptional collaborator and creative problem solver
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Proven success in cultivating senior-level relationships and managing complex stakeholder initiatives
