Responsibilities:

• Carry out standard toolmaker duties and responsibilities.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, specifications, and technical diagrams.
• Set up and operate tool room equipment, including grinders, milling machines, drills, and lathes.
• Fabricate precision components for machine repair and replacement.
• Perform minor machine maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Take on additional tasks or special fixture projects as assigned.
• Support and help train employees in proper equipment setup and system usage.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures and keeping equipment clean and in proper working conditions.

Required Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED or trade school and 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience with machines to make tooling, using manual mills, lathes, drill press, band saw and hand grinder.
• Proficiently operate all common machine equipment, mills, lathes, grinders.
