Role Summary:
North Island Nissan is seeking a motivated and organized individual to take on the role of Lease Portfolio Manager in addition to their responsibilities as a Sales Consultant. This position is designed to maximize customer retention, lease renewals, and portfolio growth while continuing to drive new and used vehicle sales. The successful candidate will balance proactive lease management with day-to-day showroom sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lease Portfolio Management:- Maintain and manage a portfolio of lease customers working with their salespeople ensuring consistent and timely follow-up
- Proactively contact customers approaching lease maturity to review their options, including upgrading, renewing, or purchasing their current vehicle.
- Identify opportunities to retain customers within the North Island Nissan family
- Coordinate lease-end processes to ensure a smooth and professional customer experience
- Take over sales process for all orphan owner lease portfolio customers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions within the CRM
- Work closely with management to develop strategies for improving lease retention and penetration
- Work with Sales team to build confidence in leasing and how to sell the benefits of the program
Sales Responsibilities:
- Engage with showroom and online customers to generate vehicle sales opportunities
- Conduct needs assessments, vehicle presentations, and test drives
- Negotiate and close sales in accordance with dealership processes
- Maintain strong product knowledge across new and pre-owned inventory
- Follow up with leads and prospects to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous automotive sales experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and results-driven mindset
- Experience using CRM systems is considered an asset
- Professional demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction
