The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, evaluate, and modify physical and virtual compute environments throughout systems life cycle.
- Experience with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Ansible, Puppet and Desired State Configuration (DSC). Advanced knowledge with Implementation, developing endpoint builds and troubleshooting experience in Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM).
- Participate in system conceptual design and documentation.
- Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
- Provide system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance as needed.
- Provide inputs to briefings, transitioning concepts to execution, course of action (COA) development, and assisting in project technical planning and implementation.
- Develop standard operation procedures (SOPs) and system documentation
- Collaborate with managers, network engineers, team members, and customer on solutions and issues.
- Review, analyze, and verify current security configuration and effectiveness in response to DoW requirements and emerging threats.
- Achieve and maintain Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
- Provide tier III support in identifying, analyzing and resolving problems.
- Mentor and coach less experienced system administrators and engineers.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- Continuous improvement mindset to ensure quality of delivered services.
- May be required to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as required
- The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of related network or systems engineering experience.
- Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
- Must meet DoW 8570 requirements and be eligible for IAT Level II (Security+) access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges and must obtain ITIL V4 Foundation within six months of hire.
- The work environment is fast paced and requires the ability to work on multiple projects at once and the ability to reprioritize based on customer needs
- Experience with maintaining information system compliance with DISA security policies and procedures (STIGs, IAVAs etc.)
- A demonstrated strong working knowledge of Microsoft and Virtual infrastructure technologies.
- A thorough understanding of infrastructure services such as DHCP, DNS, Microsoft Active Directory and application/network connectivity troubleshooting.
- A strong understanding of storage, and backup and recovery procedures.
- May be required to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV)
- VMware Certified Professional - Desktop and Mobility (VCP-DTM)
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
- Experience with Dell/EMC VxRail Hyperconverged Infrastructure.
- Experience setting up and maintaining SolarWinds monitoring service.
- Experience with backup and recovery leveraging EMC Avamar, Data Domain, iDPA.
- Experience with High Availability (HA) and Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).
- Experience with Splunk software platform.
