You will also contribute to broader UX initiatives, supporting high-quality, user-centered experiences. The environment is dynamic, collaborative, and focused on continuous improvement and innovation in design.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development, rollout, and governance of a unified design system across multiple digital properties.
  • Audit and standardize existing designs into reusable components, patterns, and design tokens.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, usage guidelines, and accessibility standards (AODA/WCAG).
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure components are scalable, technically feasible, and aligned with front-end standards.
  • Work with content teams and internal/external stakeholders to maintain consistency in typography, imagery, and content presentation.
  • Support broader UX initiatives, advocating for user-centered design and continuous improvement in processes and workflows.
  • Manage Figma libraries and facilitate feedback loops to ensure effective adoption of design system assets.
Requirements:
  • Residency in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with availability for in-person meetings.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, including at least 2 years focused on design systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining scalable design systems in Figma or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, component-based architecture, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience collaborating with developers using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and design tokens.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Preferred: experience in enterprise or multi-brand environments, agile workflows, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other CMS/DXP platforms, and strong portfolio demonstrating design systems and component libraries.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary with a 100% employer-paid benefits package.
  • Flexible hybrid work environment with remote work options.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, skill development, and career advancement.
  • Access to modern design tools and collaborative workflows.
  • Regular team events and in-person gatherings to strengthen culture and collaboration.
  • Supportive, inclusive, and innovative work environment emphasizing people-first values.
