Role Overview
The Manager – Higg Facility Tools (FSLM) will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of updates, enhancements, and scaling activities related to the Higg Facility tools, with a strong focus on Facility Social & Labor Module (FSLM) and related verification processes. The role works cross-functionally with technical teams, verification services, members, and external partners to ensure high-quality delivery, stakeholder alignment, and global adoption in line with Cascale’s vision and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end project management for the update and development cycles of Higg Facility tools, including FSLM.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans covering timelines, resourcing, dependencies, and risks.
- Ensure delivery against agreed milestones and proactively identify and mitigate risks or delays.
- Use project management tools and methodologies to track progress and ensure transparency.
Stakeholder & Member Engagement
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on Higg Facility tools..
- Gather, synthesize, and prioritize feedback from members, stakeholders, and internal teams in line with Cascale strategy.
- Manage expectations and maintain high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
Technical & Subject-Matter Expertise
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the Higg Index suite, with emphasis on FSLM.
- Act as one of the internal experts and representatives for Higg Facility tools (FSLM)
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement platform, methodology, and tool enhancements.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in coordination with technical developers.
- Clearly communicate technical requirements and updates to diverse stakeholder groups.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- 7+ years of experience in the apparel, footwear, home textiles and/or other consumer goods industries, including direct experience developing and implementing social programs at manufacturing facilities;
- Demonstrated project management, leadership, and analytics skills;
- Strong familiarity with Cascale and the Higg suite of tools, with a clear understanding of the difference in approach between Higg Index verification and standard audits;
- Experience with multi-layered, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and a solution-oriented approach;
- Experience and confidence in convening, facilitating, and leading conversations with diverse groups of stakeholders with a wide range of perspectives, and consensus building;
- Experience working with people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds;
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Capability to work independently while collaborating with staff.
- Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Comfortable working remotely on international time zones
- Post-graduate diploma or Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental or social sciences, engineering, or related field.
- Proficient in English

Reporting Structure
This is a full-time role, reporting directly to the Director, Social Performance Alignment
Compensation and Location
The Cascale offers a compensation package and salary bands are based on country location and aims to be competitive in each market. Actual compensation will also vary depending on factors including (but not limited to) relevant experience and performance. Salary is just one component of Cascale’s Total Rewards package for employees.
