This senior leadership role is responsible for driving global operational excellence across aero gas turbine field services, with a strong focus on Lean transformation, outage performance, and standardization at scale. The position plays a critical role in shaping how complex maintenance and outage operations are executed worldwide, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and measurable improvement across all regions. You will lead the development and adoption of global standards, tools, and digital solutions that directly impact outage quality, cycle time, and cost performance. Acting as both a strategic leader and hands-on Lean practitioner, you will partner closely with engineering, field operations, and commercial teams. The role also oversees the global deployment of digital outage capabilities, ensuring field teams are fully enabled with best-in-class tools and processes. This is a highly influential position where operational rigor, technical depth, and continuous improvement converge.
- Lead the global development and continuous improvement of outage standards for LM6000, LM2500, and LMS100 turbine technologies.
- Drive the deployment and adoption of Live Outage digital solutions, acting as the primary ambassador across field operations and customer stakeholders.
- Establish and enforce Lean-based standard work, planning practices, and execution frameworks to improve consistency and performance across regions.
- Own critical performance metrics (SQDC), ensuring visibility, accountability, and continuous improvement through structured operational reviews.
- Lead global Kaizen initiatives and continuous improvement programs focused on Lean principles, 5S, and outage productivity optimization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for aero gas turbine technologies, providing deep technical guidance across field execution teams.
- Partner with regional operations, engineering, tooling, and commercial teams to drive cross-functional alignment and execution excellence.
- Ensure disciplined execution of improvement initiatives, driving measurable value stream impact and sustained operational gains.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
- 11+ years of progressive experience in power generation, field services, or industrial operations with demonstrated leadership impact.
- Strong background in gas turbine maintenance, outage execution, or field engineering environments.
- Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary and geographically distributed teams in complex operational settings.
- Deep understanding of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices applied in industrial or energy contexts.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in both independent and highly collaborative environments, including remote teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 30–40%.
