Sr. IT Communications & Strategy Advisor

This role sits at the intersection of IT strategy, executive communication, and internal engagement, shaping how technology vision and progress are understood across a large, distributed organization. You will transform complex IT strategies, roadmaps, and performance data into clear, compelling narratives for leadership and stakeholders. Working closely with IT executives and cross-functional teams, you will ensure alignment between strategic goals and operational execution. The position requires a strong ability to synthesize technical information into executive-ready materials, while also driving consistent communication across digital collaboration platforms. You will play a key role in strengthening IT visibility, improving engagement, and supporting change initiatives through structured storytelling and data-driven insights. This is a highly strategic and creative role within a fast-paced, enterprise IT environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Translate IT strategies, roadmaps, and initiatives into executive-level communications including presentations, briefings, dashboards, and talking points
  • Develop and manage IT communication strategies across platforms such as SharePoint, Teams, and Viva Engage to support engagement and knowledge sharing
  • Facilitate strategic alignment sessions with IT leadership and stakeholders to define goals, priorities, and progress tracking mechanisms
  • Build and maintain IT performance reporting frameworks, including KPIs, dashboards, milestones, risks, and dependencies
  • Create targeted communication and change management materials such as newsletters, FAQs, and readiness messaging for major initiatives
  • Design and implement communication templates, playbooks, and standards to ensure consistency across IT messaging and reporting
  • Support leadership in articulating IT strategy and progress to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Drive continuous improvement in IT communications practices, tools, and engagement approaches
Requirements:
  • 5–7 years of experience in IT strategy, internal communications, program management, or management consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Information Technology, or related field
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into clear, executive-ready messaging
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and experience creating executive-level presentations
  • Experience working with SharePoint or similar intranet/content management systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
  • Experience tracking KPIs, project milestones, and performance metrics
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Preferred: experience in financial services, insurance, or professional services environments
  • Preferred: familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, agile delivery, or IT governance frameworks
