  • Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and career development discussions to grow team capability
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, UX, and security teams to define strategy and align technical tradeoffs
  • Contribute to the organization’s generative AI and LLM roadmap, including foundation models, agentic workflows, and advanced architectures
  • Oversee responsible AI practices including fairness, explainability, safety, and bias monitoring in production systems
  • Support planning activities such as resource allocation, technical decision-making, and roadmap prioritization
  • Contribute up to a limited portion of hands-on technical work including design input, debugging, and feature support
Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong leadership experience with deep technical expertise in data science, machine learning, and modern AI systems.

  • 6+ years of professional experience in data science, including at least 4 years in a leadership or team management role
  • Proven experience managing and developing high-performing data science or ML teams
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Python and data science frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, or Scikit-learn
  • Experience designing, deploying, and scaling ML solutions in cloud environments (AWS or GCP)
  • Practical experience with generative AI and LLM ecosystems, including tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, or Anthropic APIs
  • Knowledge of RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation methodologies
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, SageMaker, or Vertex AI and vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector
  • Experience building or overseeing agentic AI systems and multi-agent workflows
  • Strong communication skills with ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Background in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related fields preferred
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $151,000 to $219,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility and equity
  • Flexible remote work arrangement within the United States
  • Unlimited paid time off with leadership actively encouraging its use
  • Up to 24 weeks of parental leave
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Strong focus on professional development, conferences, and continuous learning opportunities
  • Collaborative, mission-driven environment focused on meaningful AI applications in cybersecurity
  • Inclusive workplace with strong commitment to diversity, equity, and accessibility
