Assistant General Manager Role: The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining efficient restaurant performance. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about food service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to take on a leadership role.

Essential/Primary responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Oversee and ensure that exceptional customer service is consistently provided by all members of the team.

Training: Ensure that Shift Leaders are properly trained and prepared to lead their teams effectively. Monitoring Labor Costs: Track and manage labor costs to ensure they are within budget and provide assistance for shift leaders with staffing.

Scheduling: Create and manage schedules for the team, ensuring optimal coverage for all shifts. Hiring and Staffing Recommendations: Provide recommendations for hiring decisions for General Manager in accordance with scheduling needs.

Managing: Oversee Shift Leaders and Team Members, ensuring they meet performance standards and adhere to company policies.

Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory, ensure stock levels are adequate and waste is minimized. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, placing orders as needed to ensure product availability. Cash Handling: Supervise cash handling procedures and engage directly in cash handling as needed to ensure accuracy and security.

Oil Disposal: Check oil barrels and call company for pick up when necessary (Monthy?)

Secondary Responsibilities:

Attend Bi-annual staff meetings

Attend meetings with General Managers to discuss operations, logistics, etc

Execute a variety of different tasks as needed in accordance with General Management requests

Skills/Competencies to include:

Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures

Strong operational skills in a fast-paced food service environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures

Ability to manage labor costs and optimize staffing.

Strong proficiency in using modern communication and productivity tools is essential.

Preferred Bilingual in Spanish reading, writing and speaking preferred

Physical Demands

Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

May require lifting up to 50 lbs.

Years of Experience: 1+ years of restaurant managerial experience

Education: Highschool Diploma or GED required.

Recomendaciones de contratacin y dotacin de personal: brindar recomendaciones para las decisiones de contratacin del gerente general de acuerdo con las necesidades de programacin.

Administracin: supervisar a los lderes de turno y a los miembros del equipo, asegurndose de que cumplan con los estndares de desempeo y se adhieran a las polticas de la empresa.

Administracin de inventario: supervisar y administrar el inventario, garantizar que los niveles de existencias sean adecuados y que se minimice el desperdicio.

Administracin de proveedores: administrar las relaciones con los proveedores, realizar pedidos segn sea necesario para garantizar la disponibilidad del producto.

Manejo de efectivo: supervisar los procedimientos de manejo de efectivo y participar directamente en el manejo de efectivo segn sea necesario para garantizar la precisin y la seguridad.\

Responsabilidades secundarias:

Asistir a reuniones semestrales del personal

Asistir a reuniones con los gerentes generales para analizar operaciones, logstica, etc. Ejecutar una variedad de tareas diferentes segn sea necesario de acuerdo con las solicitudes de la gerencia general

Habilidades/competencias que deben incluirse:

Conocimiento de prcticas y procedimientos de supervisin

Slidas habilidades operativas en un entorno de servicio de alimentos de ritmo rpido Excelentes habilidades de comunicacin e interpersonales.

Slidas habilidades organizativas y de resolucin de problemas

Conocimiento de procedimientos de seguridad y saneamiento de alimentos

Capacidad para gestionar los costos laborales y optimizar la dotacin de personal. Es esencial tener un slido dominio del uso de herramientas modernas de comunicacin y productividad. Preferiblemente Bilinge en espaol: lectura, escritura y habla preferiblemente

Requisitos fsicos

Capacidad para permanecer de pie durante perodos prolongados y trabajar en un entorno de ritmo rpido.

Puede ser necesario levantar hasta 50 libras.

Aos de experiencia: ms de 1 ao de experiencia en gestin de restaurantes

Educacin: se requiere diploma de secundaria o GED.
