Job Overview:

(PLP Co.) is looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Equipment & Fleet Diesel Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll ensure the smooth operation of our fleet and equipment, utilizing your mechanical skills to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on-site or in our facilities.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
Diagnostics and Repairs: Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on various equipment, from light-duty to heavy-duty trucks and construction equipment.
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct scheduled maintenance per OEM guidelines using electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
Emergency Assistance: Provide roadside repair support when necessary, coordinating towing as needed.
Tool and Equipment Care: Maintain tools and equipment to ensure reliability.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and perform DOT inspections.
Fabrication Tasks: Weld, fabricate, and cut parts as required using arc-welding and flame cutting equipment.

Qualifications:
1+ years of proven experience in mechanic, especially with diesel engines, gas engines, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to diagnose and repair diverse mechanical issues.
Welding and fabrication skills are preferred but not required.
Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not mandatory.
Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
High school diploma or GED.
