Tashman Home Center is seeking a friendly and professional Showroom Sales Associate with experience in windows, doors, glass, or hardware. In this client-facing role, you'll serve as a key point of contact in our showroom assisting walk-in customers, fielding calls, qualifying leads, and coordinating appointments. This position blends technical product knowledge with customer service, sales, and light administrative support. Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist walk-in customers in our showroom
Qualify leads and schedule client appointments for the outside sales team
Answer and screen incoming calls to determine client needs
Support the sales team with writing and following up on quotes
Process and manage cash-and-carry orders and deposits
Maintain organized records of customer interactions and orders
Assist store cashiers and management with technical product questions
Provide knowledgeable support in windows, doors, screens, and related hardware
Use software to assist with estimates and client communications
Help with takeoffs for bids and support the owner with quoting
Opportunity to grow into a hybrid showroom/field role based on interest and performance
5+ years of sales, showroom, or customer-facing experience preferred
Familiarity with windows, doors, hardware, or glass (practical experience required)
Familiar with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or other computer software for day to day use
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to qualify leads and schedule appointments confidently
Experience with quoting, bidding, or takeoffs is a plus
Administrative and customer service background strongly preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment
High school diploma or GED required
