Certified Nursing Aide at VitaCare Living Proctor – Proctor, Minnesota

As a certified nursing assistant, you will have the rewarding opportunity to act as the primary caregiver to our patients with varied levels of mobility who require daily assistance and help them with getting dressed, eating daily meals, changing bedpans, and going to the restroom. Monitoring patient symptoms, changes in behavior, and vital signs are critical tasks for this role. $18.50 - $23 hourly

• Maintain clean and sanitary patient rooms by rotating sheets, changing bedpans, and performing general room upkeep
• Communicate information with patient care providers and other nursing staff members to facilitate patient care
• Help patients with basic care including bathing, dressing, going to the restroom, eating, and taking proper medication dosages on a daily basis

• Be able to use computer database and software programs to accurately record patient history
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and nurses to ensure positive relationships are maintained
• Prior experience helping bedridden patients and patients who suffer from age-related illness including Alzheimer's and Dementia would be preferred
