- Lead Google Ads Strategies: Develop, implement, and optimize Google Ads strategies across Google Ads and other SEM platforms as they become relevant for our clients.
- Campaign Management: Manage and execute campaigns for clients with Google Ads as a service, ensuring alignment with their business goals and objectives.
- Creative Development & Execution: Design and produce campaigns, ads groups, and ad creatives ensuring they are compelling, on-brand, and aligned with campaign objectives.
- Optimization & Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot campaigns to ensure they meet performance KPIs. Adjust bidding strategies, budgets, and targeting as needed to maximize performance and ROI. Identify and resolve underperforming campaigns, ad groups, ads and/or audiences to improve overall campaign efficiency.
- Audience Development & Segmentation: Develop, test, and refine audience segments, ensuring targeting is optimized for client goals.
- Budget Optimization: Develop budget recommendations based on client goals, expected cost-per-acquisition, and historical performance data. Share budget insights with the team and upper management to inform company best practices.
- Performance Reporting: Compile and analyze monthly reports on campaign spending, revenue, engagement, and other key metrics segmented by platform, industry, and reservation system. Present insights and recommendations to clients. Present larger service area reports, trends and insights to upper management.
- Client Communication & Reporting: Regularly communicate with internal team members and clients to update them on campaign performance, adjustments, and results. Manage expectations and provide strategic recommendations based on campaign performance and analytics.
- Cross-Platform Integration & Cohesion: Collaborate with other marketing channels (e.g. paid social, email) to ensure PPC strategies are integrated within broader digital marketing efforts. Ensure that PPC messaging and goals are aligned with other digital and offline campaigns.
- Client Audits: Conduct “mini PPC audits” for prospective clients, presenting findings and recommendations during sales calls.
- Template & Strategy Development: Create templates, custom audiences, and strategic campaign guidelines for other team members to utilize across various campaigns and platforms.
- Privacy Compliance & Audience Building: Navigate and adapt to privacy updates affecting PPC, developing new audience strategies as necessary.
- Continuous Education and Industry Awareness: Stay updated on algorithm changes and new features of PPC platforms to ensure campaigns are aligned with platform best practices. Maintain expertise in PPC advertising by participating in webinars, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Explore & Test New PPC Channels: In collaboration with Meta Ads Specialists and Marketing Managers, this role will research and test new paid channels and strategies for clients. This may include Bing, Reddit, and others.
- 2+ years of experience in Google Ads management, preferably in an agency environment.
- Proven track record of success with Google Ads.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both internal teams and clients.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts and developing strategies tailored to different industries.
- Proficiency in using advertising platforms, analytics tools, reporting software, and Google Sheets.
- Experience with creative development and optimization for PPC campaigns.
- Ability to stay ahead of PPC trends and algorithm changes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex campaign challenges.
- Enthusiastic about testing and scaling new PPC platforms and ad formats.
