Marketing Intern

San Diego, CA

Reports to: Marketing Director

FLSA Status: Full-Time Non-Exempt -Summer Internship

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Pay: $19 an hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Marketing Intern who is a college junior or senior majoring in marketing or a related field. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in a diverse array of business-to-business marketing activities, including marketing automation (HubSpot), demand generation, events, multi-channel campaigns, website, social media, reporting, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

· Assist in the development and execution of marketing automation strategies.

· Support the planning and execution and demand generation of in-person and virtual events.

· Collaborate on marketing campaigns and promotions focused on lead generation.

· Help manage and update the company website and content.

· Contribute to social media strategy and content creation.

· Analyze marketing performance and contribute to reporting on KPIs.

· Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for marketing initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Junior or Senior level).

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Basic understanding of analytics and reporting.

· Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

· Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
