What You’ll Do

• Design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate art lessons that spark creativity and critical thinking
• Use differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Create a classroom environment that is welcoming, organized, and inspires artistic exploration
• Build strong relationships with students and support their social and emotional growth
• Communicate effectively with families about student progress and experiences
• Collaborate with colleagues across grade levels and disciplines
• Curate and display student artwork throughout campus
• Plan and lead the Artist Festival, featuring student work and guest artists
• Manage art materials, tools, and equipment, including kiln use
• Participate fully in school life, including events, committees, and student supervision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, Elementary Education, or a related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Experience teaching elementary or lower school students preferred
