This role sits at the intersection of large-scale data center delivery and advanced project controls leadership, driving the systems and governance that keep complex capital programs on track. You will work across multi-phase, high-value infrastructure projects, ensuring schedule, cost, risk, and performance objectives are met in highly demanding environments. Acting as both a technical expert and strategic advisor, you will shape project controls frameworks that guide decision-making from early planning through construction close-out. The position requires close collaboration with clients, engineers, and delivery teams to translate complex project data into actionable insights. You will influence funding strategies, forecasting accuracy, and delivery efficiency across portfolios. This is a high-impact role where analytical rigor and construction expertise directly enable successful data center execution at scale.
- Lead project controls execution across large, complex data center programs, ensuring effective management of cost, schedule, risk, and performance metrics.
- Develop and implement standardized project controls systems, governance frameworks, and reporting structures across portfolios and projects.
- Support capital planning, funding requests, and front-end planning activities by consolidating financial, scheduling, and project data into actionable insights.
- Analyze project schedules, cost forecasts, and progress updates to proactively identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Oversee or support project setup activities, including coding structures, procurement workflows, and project control systems integration.
- Provide reporting and analytics to clients and leadership to support decision-making, governance, and project transparency.
- Contribute to project close-out activities, ensuring financial, contractual, and documentation requirements are fully completed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in project controls, cost management, or related roles within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong expertise in project controls functions, including scheduling, cost estimating, risk management, and project governance.
- Experience working on complex construction projects, ideally including data centers or large-scale infrastructure programs.
- Proficiency with scheduling and project tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, schedules, contracts, and financial data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across clients, engineers, and internal teams.
- Preferred certifications such as PMP, CCE, CEP, or MRICS are a plus.
- Competitive salary range: $104,600 – $139,466.68 annually
