Horizontal Directional Drilling Laborer in at NETS INTERNATIONALS COMMUNICATION LLC

The HDD Laborer is responsible for a variety of tasks that involve physical labor and the operation of hand and power tools associated with the day-to-day function of the HDD Drilling team and successful operation of the drilling process.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the work site for drilling, including location utilities and eliminating hazards.
• Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials and tools.
• Assisting with mixing and cleaning up drilling fluid.
• Assisting with utility locating and potholing
• Assisting with pipe handling, fusing, and joining pipe sections
• Operating hand tools and power tools as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Follows specifications for the job and company policies
• Complies with safety procedures while driving and at job site
• Strive for optimal production while working safely and performing quality work

Requirements

• Working knowledge of DOT regulations (Vehicle and Operator Qualifications)
• Understanding of client and company work specifications
• Ability to comply with the “Operator’s Manual” for your particular equipment
• Ability to read comprehend and follow all quality/safety policies and procedures
• Self-motivated, safety, quality and production minded
• Ability to work in all types of weather
• Knowledge of underground pot is preferred
• Self-motivated, safety, quality and production minded
• English and Spanish language preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must complete and pass a pre‐employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass background and pre-employment physical
• Must be able to work long hours and weekends if needed.
• Ability to travel as required.

Work Location

All work locations will be on-site and will vary based on the location and duration of each project. If hired, candidates can expect worksite locations to change regularly. Primary job locations will be in or around in the Denver Metro area. Candidates should expect to travel when needed to support work in other markets.

Pay

$17.00-20.00 per hour
