We are looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Agile methodologies and a proven track record of managing multiple Scrum teams. The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $151,225. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Scrum Master for multiple Scrum teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor Scrum teams, ensuring that they understand and follow Agile methodologies and principles.
- Remove impediments and resolve conflicts that hinder team productivity and progress.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure that the team's backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and reflects customer needs and business goals.
- Track and report on team progress using Agile metrics and performance indicators.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to identify and address process inefficiencies.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within and across teams, as well as with stakeholders and leadership.
- Provide guidance and support for scaling Agile practices across the organization.
- Promote an environment of innovation and experimentation, supporting teams in adopting new tools and techniques.
- Ensure that teams adhere to established Agile frameworks and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of managing multiple Scrum teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) is required; advanced certifications (A-CSM, PSM II) are a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and across various levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Rally, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Proficient experience with Rally software
- Experience with Agile scaling frameworks such as the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Additional Agile certifications such as Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC) or Certified Agile Leader (ICP-LEA).
- Experience in a similar industry or with similar projects.
Security clearance level:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.
- This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPTO security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last 2 years continuously.
