ACCOUNTING MANAGER
$1,650 - $1,800 a month
Job Title: Accountant Manager
About the Role:
• Lead and support key accounting and operational management processes including interviews, audits, metrics analysis, and resource planning for new projects.
• Oversee policy compliance, review KPIs, manage absence and performance reports.
• Coordinate salary increases and annual evaluations.
• Drive improvements in accounting processes, reporting structure, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare leaders for future roles.
Responsibilities:
• Support supervisor/POC in interview processes for Supervisors and Senior Managers.
• Meet with recruiting team to discuss received resumes.
• Support the Audit review process.
• Provide ActiveTrak audit information to POC and create action plans to resolve issues.
• Analyze the ActiveTrak dashboard.
• Plan resources needed (how, when, what) for new team projects or processes.
• Review periodic KPIs, support and track goal accomplishment.
• Manage absence reports.
• Update and maintain policy and procedure documentation.
• Propose and improve the structure of Accounting reports (e.g., Weekly Completion Report).
• Enhance processes for efficiency and error reduction.
• Conduct annual performance reviews: review goals and ratings; obtain AVP approval via email.
• Manage salary increases: calculate prorated amounts, create compensation tickets, send required emails, notify employees, handle Salary Increase forms and Midasoft tickets.
• Prepare supervisors and leaders for career progression.
Skills & Qualifications:
• English language proficiency at B2 to C1 level.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels internationally and cross-culturally.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication skills including active listening.
• Ability to coach and develop the accounting team.
• Strong customer relations skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Capability to work effectively across internal and external departments.
• Work independently and collaboratively as a team player.
• Mandatory problem-solving skills and resource management to achieve team goals.
• Excellent organizational, time management skills, and attention to detail.
