Job Summary:
Customer Service Representative (CSR) performs timely entering of orders and customer inquiries and needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required as the GSFG CSR interacts with every facet of the company internally as well as our customer base. Because of the dynamic nature of the trading and feed manufacturing business, attention to detail is crucial.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders via phone and email and accurately enter customer orders in order tracking software.
- Enter payments daily into banking module.
- Cover phones and order entry for other locations as needed.
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability, opportunistic curiosity and contributes to creating an environment where people want to work.
- Responsible for making sure COD account handling and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Handling of walk in customers and counter/store sales
- Maintaining store inventory including shelving, ordering, and inventory reconciling.
- Take cash deposits to bank weekly and track and reconcile petty cash/cash drawer
- Process check deposits daily.
- Maintain all required records and documentation necessary for the facility.
- Assist with safety record keeping and enter records and metrics in KPA software.
- Complete 40 hour training on sampling requirements.
- Perform sample testing.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED), required. Associates Degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of basic math principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications. (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- High-level of attention to detail.
Physical Demands:
· Frequent sitting, use of computer, communication via telephone
· Ability to navigate an office environment.
· Regular and predictable attendance in office or site location.
