Earth Tech Enterprises is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Scale House Operator to support daily operations at our aggregate facility. This role is responsible for weighing inbound and outbound trucks, issuing scale tickets, and maintaining accurate transaction records while ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow through the plant.

The Scale House Operator serves as a key point of communication between truck drivers, plant operators, and management to support smooth and efficient operations.

Weighing & Ticketing

• Accurately weigh inbound and outbound trucks using the scale management system

• Issue electronic scale tickets and verify material type, customer, and job information

• Maintain accurate transaction records and reconcile loads at the end of each shift

Driver & Customer Interaction

• Greet and direct truck drivers in a professional and courteous manner

• Communicate site procedures, loading instructions, and safety requirements

• Serve as the first point of contact for delivery inquiries or discrepancies

Operations Support

• Coordinate with loader operators and plant staff to manage truck flow

• Monitor radio communications and provide updates to operations leadership

• Prepare daily scale reports for production tracking and accounting

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure trucks meet company and DOT weight requirements

• Follow company safety policies and PPE standards

• Report any safety concerns or operational issues promptly

• High school diploma or GED required

• Experience in aggregate, mining, construction, or logistics environments preferred

• Strong computer and data entry skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

This position is based in the scale house at an active aggregate facility and involves frequent interaction with truck drivers, equipment operators, and plant staff. Work may involve exposure to outdoor conditions such as dust, noise, and varying weather.
