POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Intern provides administrative and operational support to the HR team. This role assists with recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, training administration, employee engagement activities, and general office support while gaining practical exposure to core HR functions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the recruitment process by conducting phone screenings, coordinating interviews, maintaining candidate communication, managing the applicant tracking system, and scheduling pre-employment screenings.
- Assist with coordinating and conducting new hire orientation and ensure onboarding documentation and processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and documentation to ensure accuracy and organization.
- Assist with Learning Management System (LMS) administration by uploading and organizing training materials, tracking employee training participation and completion, and supporting updates to learning content.
- Assist in preparing and distributing internal HR communications related to company initiatives, announcements, and events.
- Support planning and coordination of employee engagement activities, training sessions, recognition programs, and company events.
- Support company social media and employer branding efforts by drafting posts that highlight company culture, events, and employee achievements.
- Perform general administrative and office duties including answering phones, filing, data entry, and assisting with marketing initiatives when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
