Overview

Lutron’s Gurgaon team is seeking a technically driven Senior Information Technology Representative to join our IT team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to solve complex business challenges and deliver high-quality IT solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with a team of skilled Computer Science and IT professionals, contributing to innovative projects that support our global operations and enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT equipment and service procurement, including managing the full purchasing lifecycle, coordinating with internal teams, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Drive continuous process improvements within the IT purchasing workflow to increase efficiency and ensure clear, standardized procedures.
• Manage annual contract renewals, ensuring all IT service agreements and subscriptions are renewed and paid on time to avoid any service disruption.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships, serving as the main point of contact for requesting quotes, negotiating pricing when appropriate, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring service quality.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Purchasing to ensure all IT purchases are aligned with company policies, financial controls, and procurement guidelines.
• Utilize business systems and tools, including E1, ServiceNow, Concur, Perceptive, and various vendor portals to submit requests, process invoices, track assets, and maintain accurate records.
• Support internal stakeholders by addressing procurement-related queries and ensuring IT has the resources needed to operate effectively

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-year degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a 4-year degree in engineering/technology with a 60% and above?
• Knowledge of purchase order creation
• Hands-on attitude and strong work ethic
• Proven written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starting, inquisitive, flexible, multi-tasking
• Driven to maintain high standards of quality, even under pressure
• Proven service mind-set and strong attention to details
• Proven problem-solving and strong written and communication skills
