The Education Technology Coordinator is responsible for the strategic management, optimization, and daily administration of Union Health’s Learning Management System (Workday Learning).
You would ensure coworkers and leaders have reliable access to high-quality training and development through a well-managed learning system.
This role reports to the Manager of Talent Development.

- Hands-on onboarding with LMS and Workday Learning support
- Collaborative training environment with cross-department partnership
- Ongoing learning focused on system accuracy and continuous improvement
Essential Job Duties:
- Serve as the Workday Learning Super Administrator, maintaining system configuration, security roles, integrations, upgrades, and enterprise-wide data integrity
- Lead the full migration from Symplr to Workday Learning, ensuring accurate mapping of curricula, job profiles, historical learning records, and role-based assignments
- Partner with HRIS/IT, Compliance, Clinical Education, Safety, and Quality to support regulatory training, audit readiness, and system-wide learning operations
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and compliance tracking tools to monitor completion rates, overdue requirements, and organizational learning performance
- Provide ongoing technical support, training, and governance for LMS users, ensuring a consistent, scalable, and high-quality learning experience across Union Health
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education required; Master’s preferred in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, HR, or related field
- Five (5)+ years of experience administering a Learning Management System, preferably in a regulated healthcare environment
- Advanced proficiency with Workday Learning, Symplr, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and instructional technology tools
- Strong reporting, analytics, and compliance-tracking skills to support audit readiness and training governance
- Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide LMS projects and collaborate across HRIS/IT, Compliance, and Clinical Education teams
Licenses / Certifications:
- Workday Learning Certification and/or Workday Pro Certification preferred
- ATD credentials (APTD or CPTD) or other professional learning certifications preferred
- Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
- eLearning or instructional design certifications (eLearning Guild, iSpring, Camtasia) preferred
- Experience supporting extended enterprise learning environments or HRIS/HCM implementations preferred
