STB - LAUNDRY AIDE at Saint Bernards Medical Center – JONESBORO, Arkansas

Must be able to read and write as well as do simple arithmetic. Needs mechanical aptitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions and work with limited supervision.

Previous experience helpful. An inexperienced worker will need three to five days of instructions and at least 30 days on-the-job training under the direction of supervisor to perform satisfactorily.

Normal hospital environment. Some exposure to changes in temperatures, fumes, and water. Normal/corrected eyesight. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Distinguish smells. Distinguish temperature by touch and proximity. Operates laundry processing equipment. Lifting, carrying up to 25lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs. Continuous standing, walking, bending and stooping.
