Summary: Under general supervision, responsible for the preparation and blasting of customer parts according to written requirements/specifications.

Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to, the following.

• Responsible for preparing and transporting customer parts for blasting.
• Operates sandblast and related equipment.
• Carefully places completed parts in proper containers for shipping or the next step in the process.
• Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
• Bring any unusual problem or irregularity to the attention of the supervisor.
• Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
• This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers' inventory and, as such, will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
• Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.

• This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or permanent resident cardholders.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience Necessary: Minimum one year in heat treating.
• Language Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and stoop.
• Work Environment: Regularly exposed to heat, dust, noise, humidity, fumes, etc.
• Must be able to work overtime or any shift, including weekends as needed.
• Must be able to wear protective respiratory gear and other safety equipment as required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
• Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.

Physical & Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to, the following.

• Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time (at a desk, while driving, and/or on airplane travel) in an office/industrial environment.
• Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
• Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions.
• Ability to lift 25-30 lbs.
• May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
• Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
• Ability to hear in person and via phone.
