About This Position

VP of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a VP of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) in France.

This is a high-impact executive finance role designed for a senior leader who thrives on strategic influence and operational rigor. As VP of FP&A, you will operate as a trusted extension of the CFO, leading financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis to guide executive and Board-level decision-making. You will translate complex business dynamics into actionable insights, provide clarity to critical trade-offs, and establish FP&A standards that elevate the organization’s financial discipline. The role combines analytical rigor, business partnership, and executive presence, with responsibility for shaping the finance team’s capabilities over time. This is an opportunity to directly influence strategic outcomes, drive growth, and optimize resource allocation in a fast-evolving, high-growth environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the CFO, independently leading financial workstreams that inform executive and Board decisions.

  • Own the company’s rolling forecasts, re-forecasts, and long-range planning processes, building scenario-based models to evaluate risk, opportunity, and trade-offs.

  • Pressure-test assumptions, surface critical trade-offs, and provide clear, actionable recommendations for decision-making.

  • Develop frameworks for ROI, unit economics, and capital efficiency, partnering with Growth, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to evaluate performance.

  • Build and maintain executive-ready dashboards and financial narratives that connect outcomes to business realities.

  • Establish high-signal FP&A processes and operating standards that ensure clarity, speed, and accuracy in financial reporting.

  • Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing FP&A team, optimizing for impact and talent density rather than headcount growth.

  • Continuously raise analytical rigor, clarity, and speed across all FP&A functions.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance, with exposure to high-growth or complex environments (public companies, late-stage private, fintech, SaaS, or marketplaces).

  • Proven ability to support senior executives and Boards with high-quality, decision-oriented analysis.

  • Strong independent judgment and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence, capable of presenting complex financial insights clearly and persuasively.

  • Demonstrated track record of building and leading high-performing FP&A teams.

  • Analytical mindset with deep expertise in scenario planning, financial modeling, and performance metrics.

  • Bias toward action, clarity, and ownership; ability to challenge assumptions and provide candid, constructive input.

  • Experience in digital assets, cryptocurrency, or fintech is a plus but not required.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of $200,000–$250,000 USD.

  • Fully remote work environment with flexibility in location and schedule.

  • Generous paid time off, parental leave, and bereavement policies.

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and dependent coverage (including reimbursement for international team members).

  • Unique benefits such as Bitcoin-based compensation options and seasonal wellness perks.

  • High-ownership role with direct exposure to executive and Board-level decision-making.

  • Opportunity to shape the finance function and influence strategic direction in a global, fast-evolving organization.

  • Continuous learning and professional growth opportunities in a cutting-edge, technology-driven industry.
