Job Summary: The Vice President of Enterprise Field Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the company’s nationwide field services organization, supporting commercial physical security and life safety systems for enterprise clients. This role is responsible for the installation, service, and lifecycle support of complex security systems across multi-site and multi-state portfolios. The Vice President oversees operational performance, financial results, service quality, workforce development, and risk management while ensuring field operations meet contractual commitments, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. This position focuses on the operational management of field technicians, service delivery, and enterprise deployments of physical security technologies. It is not an information technology or cybersecurity leadership role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leadership for enterprise field service operations, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support across national client portfolios.
- Develop and implement scalable operational frameworks, standardized project management processes, and service delivery procedures to support complex multi-site deployments and ensure consistent service quality and technical standards.
- Oversee operational risk related to field service delivery, including safety performance, regulatory compliance, service level agreement (SLA) adherence, and incident management through established escalation and root cause analysis processes.
- Partner with executive leadership to proactively mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks associated with enterprise engagements.
- Maintain full P&L responsibility for enterprise field services, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Monitor project profitability, service margins, labor utilization, and operational costs while identifying opportunities to improve EBITDA through operational efficiencies, vendor optimization, and scalable service delivery models.
- Lead and develop a nationwide team of regional service leaders, project managers, and field technicians while building leadership bench strength and succession plans.
- Establish training and development programs to ensure technical expertise, safety compliance, and consistent service delivery while promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support long-term client retention through reliable service delivery and participate in executive-level client discussions regarding service strategy, technology deployment, and operational performance.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and customer success teams on enterprise solution design, service delivery strategies, and go-to-market initiatives targeting large real estate portfolios and enterprise customers.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage subcontractor and service partner relationships to ensure nationwide coverage, cost efficiency, service quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Contribute to enterprise service strategy, geographic expansion, and service portfolio development, including managed services, preventative maintenance programs, and technology upgrade initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as required to support evolving business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in field services, security integration, alarm, fire/life safety systems, or a similar operational service environment, with demonstrated success managing large-scale installation and service organizations supporting enterprise clients.
- Proven experience managing operational budgets and P&L responsibilities while driving operational performance and growth.
- Strong understanding of physical security and life safety systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection systems, and monitoring services.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and industry-related software.
- Experience building and leading high-performing operational teams with a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Strong vendor management and contract negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate across departments to support enterprise sales, service delivery, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with an insurable driving record and proof of automobile liability and property damage coverage.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Perform work while seated, standing, walking, or moving between locations for extended periods.
- Use computers and related technology, read electronic and printed materials, and observe details at close range.
- Communicate clearly in person, by phone, and electronically, and occasionally move light objects or travel to other work locations as business needs require.
- Drive to work, client sites, and other SafeTouch branches as business needs require.
Job Type: Full-time, exempt
Work/Base Location: Remote
Work Hours/Availability: Core business hours, and as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
Travel: Approximately 50%, although it will vary by customer needs.
