Machine Operator in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania at Pennsylvania Transformer Technology Inc

Unload material from vendor's truck and check in. Cut material as required, drill, punch, bend and check per drawing. Calculate bends as required. Check cutting fluids. Operate cranes and fork trucks. Grind as required. Make simple dies and fixtures. Keep work area safe, neat, and clean.

Use of powered tools including shears, punches, saw, drills, press brake, end mill, cnc punch, threader, tube bender, forklifts, cranes, grinders, and various hand tools both powered and manual.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, hands and arms, feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.

Employee must be able to work afternoon shift.
