This role is focused on designing and executing large-scale cloud data migration initiatives in a highly innovative and collaborative technology environment. You will work on transitioning legacy data systems into modern, scalable cloud-based architectures, ensuring data integrity, performance, and continuity throughout the process. The position requires strong hands-on technical expertise to support end-to-end data workflows, including extraction, transformation, and loading across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build reliable data pipelines that enable strategic business decisions. The environment is fast-paced and transformation-driven, with exposure to cutting-edge cloud and data technologies. - Lead and support cloud data migration projects, focusing on transitioning legacy systems to modern cloud architectures
- Develop and maintain processes for reading, transforming, and writing data across multiple platforms and environments
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout migration and integration processes
- Design and implement scalable data solutions using cloud services and distributed data platforms
- Work extensively with Amazon Redshift and Google BigQuery in data engineering and migration workflows
- Apply advanced SQL and Python skills to build automation, data pipelines, and transformation routines
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth execution of end-to-end data migration strategies
- Troubleshoot data issues and ensure stability and reliability of data flows in production environments
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift and Google BigQuery
- Proven experience in end-to-end data migration projects, including legacy system transitions
- Advanced SQL skills for complex querying and data manipulation
- Strong proficiency in Python for data automation, scripting, and pipeline development
- Ability to work independently with a hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Nice to have: advanced or fluent English proficiency
