We are seeking a Marketing & Volunteer Coordinator who believes in the power of mission-driven storytelling and community engagement. This role supports the Development Director to amplify our impact, reinforcing our brand, and foster volunteer engagement across all Bittersweet Farms locations.

Work Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., every second Saturday from 8-11 a.m.
Flexibility required for fundraising events, volunteer initiatives, and special programs
In-office position with some travel between locations (Whitehouse, Pemberville, and Lima)
Compensation & Benefits
· Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $23.00 (bi-weekly pay)

Key Responsibilities
• Marketing, Communications & Storytelling
· Develop and share compelling and innovative content that highlights the individuals, programs, and impact of Bittersweet Farms
• Manage and grow social media presence across multiple platforms and locations
• Collaborate with the Development Director to execute integrated marketing, communications, and public relations strategies
• Ensure consistent brand voice and adherence to organizational branding standards
• Create and maintain print and digital marketing materials that educate, inspire, and engage supporters
• Actively monitor evolving trends, challenges, and opportunities influencing nonprofit organizations that support individuals with developmental disabilities.
· Volunteer engagement and outreach throughout the Northwest Ohio and Central Ohio areas
• Coordinate volunteer opportunities across all three Bittersweet Farms locations
• Foster positive relationships with volunteers to ensure meaningful and rewarding experiences
• Collaborate with internal teams to align volunteer efforts with program needs and events
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
Experience (Required)
• 2+ years of marketing experience and social media management experience
• 1+ year of event planning experience
· 1+ year of volunteer management experience
Additional Requirements
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with the ability to be insured
• Willingness to travel between Bittersweet Farms locations as needed
