Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front of House Manager. As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders
- Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Coordinate and schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
- Interact with customers to address any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service
- Oversee the handling of cash transactions and reconcile daily sales reports
- Maintain inventory of front of house supplies, such as menus, napkins, and condiments
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and restaurant operations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficiency in using Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Solid organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of kitchen management practices is a plus
- Passion for the hospitality industry
