Responsibilities:

• Review and process patient billing statements for accuracy
• Reconcile outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain and update accounts receivable reports
• Follow up on unpaid or delinquent accounts with patients and insurance providers
• Submit insurance claims, appeals, and supporting documentation
• Communicate professionally with patients, insurance companies, and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare billing regulations

Required Experience:

• High School Diploma or Associates degree in a related field
• 1+ years of experience in medical billing, collections, or revenue cycle
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 coding
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with insurance denials and appeals
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems
• Understanding of healthcare compliance and patient confidentiality standards
