This is an ideal role for a technical leader passionate about infrastructure excellence and complex project execution.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead quality oversight for controls systems including BMS, EPMS, PLC, and SCADA implementations across new data center builds
  • Manage performance of system integrators, controls contractors, and third-party partners throughout project lifecycles
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for controls-related quality issues and drive timely resolution to closure
  • Coordinate onboarding and direction of contractor leads, controls vendors, and instrumentation teams
  • Review project deliverables and ensure compliance with issued specifications, design standards, and construction requirements
  • Conduct site inspections covering wiring, installation quality, commissioning readiness, alarms, trends, and graphics functionality
  • Support factory controls audits, commissioning activities, calibrations, witness testing, and deficiency tracking
  • Facilitate cross-functional project meetings to align teams on schedules, risks, milestones, and next steps
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to controls architecture, redundancy, and single points of failure
  • Maintain documentation, RFIs, issue logs, and progress reporting for stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement, benchmarking, mock-up processes, and controls standardization across multiple sites
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls installation, programming, commissioning, or mission-critical construction environments
  • 3+ years of experience designing or programming HVAC controls systems and electrical power monitoring systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong experience with industrial automation and building management systems including PLC and DDC platforms
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems, controls networking, and integrated building technologies
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple stakeholders and vendors simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Proven leadership ability with mentoring and contractor management experience
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and issue-resolution capabilities
  • Experience with platforms such as Autodesk, Procore, ACC Build, or CxAlloy preferred
  • Certifications such as PMP, CAP, or related credentials are a plus
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on field troubleshooting and commissioning support
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of 125,837 USD to 214,762 USD depending on experience and geographic location
  • Bonus eligibility and potential equity participation
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching opportunities
  • Flexible spending account and health savings account options
  • Paid time off, paid holidays, floating holidays, and volunteer days
