Position Summary
The Shipping Associate will be responsible for ensuring all orders are staged and made ready for shipment. The ideal candidate will be organized and pay high attention to detail as it pertains to purchase orders and items that should be packaged and shipped together. The regulare work shift is Sunday through Thursday, 10:45 pm to 7:15 am.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Organize and stage product for proper shipment.
- Assists in inspecting materials for correct quantity and quality before shipping.
- Assist with loading orders onto delivery trucks in a timely manner, while still adhering to all safety protocols.
- Ensure all product orders are packaged and wrapped properly for safe and efficient transportation.
- Ensure product orders are ready for delivery according to delivery schedule.

Requirements:Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and orders
- Ability to communicate verbal and written to other employees and supervisor
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Excellent attendance
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in warehousing duties
- Experience operating a forklift
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The following environment/atmospheric working conditions are commonly, but not always, associated with the performance of this position.
- The noise level in the working environment is loud and is not climate controlled. Employee must be able to work in extreme hot or cold weather. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Frequent standing, bending, and kneeling are mandatory in order to successfully perform work duties.
