About This Position
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Operations Manager, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless functioning of our front desk and housekeeping departments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead operational excellence, enhance guest satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of our hotel. You will report directly to the Director of Rooms and collaborate with various teams to uphold our high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes, guest service excellence, and resolution of guest inquiries or issues
- Manage housekeeping operations to maintain cleanliness, safety, and quality standards across all guest rooms and public areas
- Supervise and support front desk and housekeeping staff, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and guest experience
- Monitor and control departmental budgets, expenses, and inventory
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination
- Address guest complaints and feedback promptly to uphold high levels of guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards and hotel policies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hotel operations, particularly in front desk and housekeeping management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hotel management software and MS Office Suite
- Problem-solving skills and a guest-focused attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality management degree preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
