About This Position
SUMMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) is a senior executive responsible for driving the overall strategic vision and direction of the organization. The CSO leads the development and execution of long-term strategies that support organizational objectives and enhance competitive positioning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and communicate the company’s strategic vision, mission, and long-term goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align departmental strategies with overall business objectives.
- Lead strategic planning processes, including annual and multi-year roadmaps.
- Monitor the implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring timely execution and measurable results.
- Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and investments.
- Provide guidance on organizational change and transformation initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or executive leadership.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in managing complex projects and driving organizational change.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Chief Strategy Officer reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and works collaboratively with other executives and board members to advance the organization’s strategic agenda.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT:
- Must successfully complete Atalco Gramercy’s required drug screening and physical examination.
- TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required prior to offer acceptance; MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) training to be completed upon hire.
