POSITION SUMMARY

LifeWave is a breakthrough life technology company dedicated to harnessing the body’s natural energy to support health and wellness. An essential part of our business model is to enhance the technology our Brand Partners and staff use every day — our technology tools should match the quality and innovation of our consumer products, running on enterprise-level software that reduces costs, improves customer experience, and drives revenue growth.

The Director, IT Product leads LifeWave’s IT Product Management function, owning the end-to-end delivery of digital product capabilities that power the company’s global e-commerce platform, Brand Partner tools, commission systems, and back-office integrations. This role is accountable for leading a team of Group Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Product Operations professionals who translate business requirements into product roadmaps and deliverables. The Director is the primary technology advocate for LifeWave’s Brand Partners and retail customers — ensuring that product decisions drive enrollment, ordering, commission accuracy, business building, and retention outcomes across global markets.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director, IT Product is responsible for the IT Product Management team, including Group Product Managers, Business Analysts, UX Designers, and contractors.

Requirements:

· Define and maintain the IT product roadmap across LifeWave’s e-commerce platform, Brand Partner portal, commission and genealogy tools, and back-office integrations – balancing strategic transformation initiatives with ongoing operational needs.

· Oversee a team of Group Product Managers, Business Analysts, commission specialists, and contractors specializing in multiple business domains including Sales, Marketing, Legal/Compliance, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Service.

· Collaborate with business stakeholders to recommend and prioritize improvements to Brand Partner and customer experiences – including enrollment, ordering, commission payments, business building tools, and performance reporting.

· Translate technology product strategy into detailed requirements, acting as the primary liaison between business partners and technical teams including Software Engineering and IT Architecture.

· Drive alignment between product delivery and business OKRs in partnership with IT leadership; present roadmaps, trade-off decisions, and delivery status to executive audiences.

· Establish and mature product management practices including backlog governance, sprint cadence, release management, change advisory board (CAB) submission discipline, and user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination.

· Build and maintain close alignment with IT Architecture and Software Engineering teams to ensure product decisions are technically sound and platform stable.

· Oversee/own the product relationship with the Exigo back-office platform, payment integrations, and other integrations, defining clear system boundaries, integration contracts, and business rules.

· Assist Product Owners and business stakeholders in building meaningful business cases for technology investment, including ROI and payback analysis.

· Champion the adoption of automation and AI across business processes, advising stakeholders on where technology can improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance the Brand Partner experience.

· “Partner with the PMO to align product roadmaps, delivery sequencing, and dependencies, while retaining accountability for product scope, priorities, and business outcomes.

· Ensure compliance with relevant ITSM, cybersecurity, and technology governance processes across all team members and associated vendors.

· Act as an evangelist for the value of technology — building internal credibility for the IT Product function and fostering a product-led culture across the organization.

· Develop and retain a high-performing product team; provide mentorship and clear growth paths across Product Manager, Business Analyst, and associated specialist roles.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

· Minimum 7 years of experience in IT Product Management, with at least 5 years managing and developing teams, including responsibility for multi-system, revenue-critical platforms in a global environment.
