RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated ED Technician for Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. BLS required.(American Heart Association)

Preferred:

Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred. Certified nursing assistant preferred.

Scheduling Requirements:

Evening Shift, 24 hrs Part Time Shift 9a-9p

Essential Functions:

The ED Technician is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including phlebotomy and EKG's. Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care Participating in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from ad mission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning
