POWER BI REPORTING DESIGNER / DATA ANALYST

The Power BI Reporting Designer / Data Analyst will build reports and KPI dashboards. This role focuses on writing DAX, validating logic and data, and ensuring that reports are accurate and valid. The position partners closely with the Senior BI Developer on model requirements and data. This is a full time, in-office position in our Lakewood, NJ office.

The Power BI Reporting Designer / Data Analyst reports to the Vice President of Software & Integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Power BI reports using our standard visual templates and design framework

• Develop DAX measures, KPIs, and business calculations

• Analyze data to understand source logic, mappings, and business rules

• Perform SQL queries for validation, troubleshooting, and data exploration

• Collaborate with the Senior BI Developer on data model structure and reporting requirements

• Work with business teams to clarify metric definitions, calculations, and reporting needs

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability across all Power BI reports

• Assist in documenting report logic, metric definitions, and business rules

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong Power BI experience, including DAX and report development
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and semantic models •
• Good SQL skills for analysis and investigation
• Strong analytical ability to trace data across multiple systems
• Clear communication skills for interacting with business and technical teams
• Experience with Power BI deployment processes is a plus Working Conditions
