Medical Assistant / NCT

We are seeking an experienced, patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled, adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoys working at the top of their scope.

The ideal candidate is a Medical Assistant who is also an NCT (X-ray certified) and bilingual, with additional experience in pain management, urgent care, or advanced clinical skills strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist providers during patient exams, procedures, and pain management visits
• Perform and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient intake accurately
• Prepare patients and rooms for procedures; maintain clinic and imaging room cleanliness
• Perform X-rays in accordance with certification, safety, and compliance standards
• Provide clinical and administrative support, including scheduling, documentation, and patient flow coordination
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up instructions
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and basic life support standards
• Collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care

Compensation

• $20–$28 per hour, depending on experience and skill set
  • Candidates bringing all preferred qualifications may be eligible for compensation at the higher end of the range

Required Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification
• Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting
• NCT (X-ray certification)
• Knowledge of basic life support and clinical safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish/English strongly preferred)
• Phlebotomy and/or IV insertion experience
• Experience in pain management or urgent care
