Harvest Market Artist-Social Media Clerk at Niemann Foods – Ann Arbor, Michigan

SUMMARY

The Artist/Social Media Clerk duties include but are not limited to promoting the store and store products through social media and signage while working in a safe manner and fostering the Niemann Harvest Market culture.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide amazing customer service
• Learns and uses the three E's: Engagement, Educate, Empowerment
• Creating in-store signage
• In-Store photographer
• Create content for digital and social media channels – website, Facebook, Instagram
• Proof ad/art work for correct copy and color
• Respond to customer questions on social media
• Assist customers as needed on the sales floor
• Maintaining all artistic signage throughout store, Billboards, chalk boards, weather vanes, endcaps, etc.
• Maintain project list, spreadsheets
• Promote Sales
• Communicate with management team
• Work within company programs, policies and procedures.
• Promote and support established programs
• Follows safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

2 years degree or an equivalent of experience in art medium

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic math (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
