Qualifications
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, implement, and deliver a Workday connector that integrates our SaaS platform with Workday products for Finance (including Financial Management, Spend Management, Financial Planning, Analytics & Reporting, Payroll, etc.)
This connector will enable seamless read/write synchronization of Master/reference data, Transactions/business events, Governance/analytics artifacts, Models and Planning artifacts between our platform and Workday, at scale, with resilience, configurability, and enterprise-grade security. It will be a core component of our multi-tenant SaaS platform, available out-of-the-box for every tenant and fully self-service configurable to meet diverse customer needs.
You’ll work closely with our product, platform, and AI engineering teams to ensure the connector meets high standards of performance, reliability, and Workday integration compliance.
- Design, build, and deploy a Workday integration connector for Workday products for Finance.
- Implement bi-directional data exchange (read/write) using Workday-approved integration technologies — including REST APIs, SOAP APIs, WQL (Workday Query Language), Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday Prism.
- Develop scalable, fault-tolerant data synchronization pipelines capable of handling large datasets and high-volume transactional updates.
- Build a schema and field configuration layer, enabling dynamic selection and mapping of Workday objects and attributes.
- Integrate secure authentication and authorization, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, and Workday security groups.
- Ensure multi-tenant architecture, where each tenant can self-configure and reconfigure their Workday connection independently.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and operations teams to ensure feature completeness, test coverage, and production reliability.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and performance metrics to ensure visibility, error detection, and proactive resolution.
- Stay current with Workday integration guidelines and API updates, ensuring continuous compliance and compatibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience in SaaS integration, backend systems, or enterprise software.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with Workday integrations (Workday REST/SOAP APIs, EIB, WQL, or Workday Studio).
- Experience with Workday Financial Management and Adaptive Planning modules.
- Strong understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architectures, API security, and data transformation at scale.
- Experience with authentication standards (OAuth2, SAML, JWT).
- Excellent debugging, performance tuning, and system observability skills.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, as we are unable to sponsor or transfer visas for this position.
- Must be located in or within commuting distance of Santa Clara, CA to be considered.
