About This Position
**Registered Nurse- Rate of Pay: $46.37 per hour Weekend Differential Pay $47.02
per hour
Scope of Service: The Nurse's primary function is to provide assessments, consultation, education and coordination of medical care to all clients of Continuum's residential programs. The Nurse's role is also to employ strategies to promote education and in service training to staff on any and all medical issues pertaining to client needs. We also ask that the Nurse be available strictly for consultation and in-service training to other programs as needed within the Residential Services Divisions.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with professional CT license.
Prior experience working with special populations, including mental health, developmental/intellectual disabilities, homelessness, substance use, and veterans preferred.
Current certification in First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain certification within 3 months of hiring.
Valid Connecticut Drivers license with clean driving record is required.
Knowledge of the community support system and resources is preferred.
A healthy role model with the ability to communicate healthy lifestyle practices and behavior modifications to clients is required.
Basic computer skills required.
Knowledge of the basic principles of psychiatric rehabilitation is preferred.
