About This Position
The Quality Accreditation Manager is responsible for managing the accreditation process for organizations. Ensure that the organization meet specific standards and requirements, and they may also be involved in developing new standard or updating existing ones. The role of an accreditation manager includes the development and implementation of policies and procedures, as well as managing staff who are responsible for carrying out the accreditation process. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with Current State of Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred. Bachelor's Degree related to healthcare will be considered. Professional certification in one of the Quality related areas (such as CPHQ, CCM, CIC, CPHRM, etc.) would be considered a plus. Additional training in computer applications, statistics, Lean, or Six Sigma also a considered plus.
Prefer Infection Control certification (CIC).
Experience: A minimum of three years clinical experience in an acute health care facility with experience in the area of Infection Control as well as experience with TJC requirements for accreditation.
