Job Summary
This role oversees operations in the defense industry supply chain management ecosystem with a broad range of activities from basic inventory functions and management to supplier quality and performance management. This role also supports our program managers, as well as other teams, in their efforts acquiring new programs and supporting existing programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with DFARS, ITAR, and any other applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Oversee the acquisition process, storage, and distribution of parts, supplies and equipment, and manage the control, or other appropriate supply functions.
• Travel to conduct physical inventories and adjust and/or maintain inventory, stock, plant, property account records and evaluating supplier quality and performance.
• Data entry, analytics and generating reports.
• Manage supplies or materials needed for programs or work operations and collate and assemble lists of equipment and parts needed for acquisition plans.
• Search catalogs, technical manuals, records, or other data sources to obtain or correct stock numbers or to find authorized substitutes for stock items
• Contact customers, supply organizations, transportation units, and others to obtain material status information, follow up on urgently required items, and/or expedite delivery of material.
• Identify requirements and requisition, issue, or distribute office and administrative supplies, forms, publications, or other printed materials.
• Maintain an accurate accounting and reporting system for non-expendable property and perform standardized property management control processes.
• Process documentation for stock item receipts, maintain such items in a controlled area, issue material to support programs, keep local stock records, reorder when stocks are low or at a specified reorder point.
• Prepare standard reports such as variances between actual and estimated costs, and perform related stock receipt, storage, control, and issue functions for expendable and non-expendable items.
• Support logistics functions for multiple Department of Defense (DOD) projects or programs.
• Develop and maintain supply chain schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with suppliers and supply chain support, track and coordinate supply chain updates and report supply chain data to key stake holders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular status updates and other key information as required
• Other work as assigned by Management

Qualifications & Requirements
• Applicants must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements (U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents, Asylees, or Refugees.
• Candidates must be lawfully able and comfortable working in a facility that handles firearms and munitions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Prior DoD or Military experience is preferred.
• Logistics Management experience.
• Proven experience in parts acquisition, preferably in the defense industry.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials, defense organizations, and industry stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
• ISO 9001:2015 preferred training.
• Functional in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Prior experience with Smart Sheets preferred.

Physical Demands & Abilities
• Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
• Working in a warehouse environment as required.
• Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly
• Travel required, both domestic and international, 25%-30% of the time, with certain times requiring more travel based on business conditions.

Working Conditions
Onsite, office and warehouse environment with travel (domestic and international), supplier manufacturing and warehouse facilities, as well as supporting the Company at trade shows and conferences.
