About This Position

Cemetery Maintenance Worker

At our Mon Valley Memorial Park, the job entails being responsible for the overall maintenance of cemetery grounds and buildings. This includes, but is not limited to: grass cutting, edge trimming, and mulching, correctly laying out grave lots for burials and installing memorials.
  • Individual must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
  • Starting rate is $18.36 per hour. Union Position. Full Union rate after year.
  • Full time - 40 hours per week. Occasionally, workload may require overtime.
  • We offer an outstanding benefits package. After introductory period, sick days, paid holidays and vacation after a year.
Candidate:
  • Must be at least 18 years old due to insurance regulations.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English.
  • Must have valid Driver's License.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Experience in operating a backhoe is helpful.
  • Experience in driving tractors, is preferred.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment.
