Position Summary

The RBT / Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering high-quality ABA therapy directly to clients in their natural home environments. You aren't just implementing programs—you are building rapport and helping families navigate the journey of autism care with dignity. This role offers top-notch training and the opportunity to gain valuable experience under the guidance of supportive supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Implementation

  • Administer ABA Therapy to clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

  • Conduct trials for Discrete Trial Training (DTT), conduct Natural Environment Training (NET), and administer behavior modification protocols.

  • Maintain the highest clinical standards while providing services in the most efficient manner.

Relationship & Rapport

  • Pair and build strong rapport with clients to ensure effective learning and engagement.

  • Treat families with dignity and respect at all times, serving as a professional representative of the clinical team.

Communication & Coordination

  • Inform and update case supervisors and families about schedule changes, case updates, and availability on a regular basis.

  • Actively participate in supervision sessions and team meetings to ensure treatment fidelity.

Professional Development

  • Behavior Technician specific: Fulfill training requirements and demonstrate competence for potential RBT certification as needed for the role.

  • Adhere to all client policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with children is required.

  • Certification: RBT certification is required for candidates who have 1.5 years of experience in the ABA field.

  • Requirements: Must pass a background check and possess a current driver’s license in your state of residence.

  • Soft Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills; must be committed, considerate, and flexible.
