This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Global Mobility in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of global talent strategy, immigration compliance, and operational design, leading how international mobility is delivered across a fast-scaling, multi-country organization. You will own the end-to-end global mobility function, shaping both its strategic direction and day-to-day execution model. The position requires building scalable systems and processes that support employee relocation, immigration sponsorship, and cross-border work arrangements. You will work closely with HR, legal, tax, and business leaders to ensure mobility decisions are compliant, efficient, and aligned with business growth. A strong focus is placed on automation, AI-driven tools, and modernizing legacy workflows to improve speed and accuracy. This is a high-impact role ideal for a strategic operator who thrives in complex, global environments and enjoys building functions from the ground up.

Accountabilities:
  • Design and manage the global mobility operating model, including internal resources, external vendors, and outsourcing strategies
  • Oversee end-to-end immigration programs across multiple visa types and geographies, including US and international pathways
  • Serve as the primary advisor to HRBPs and senior leaders on global mobility strategy, compliance, and talent movement decisions
  • Monitor global immigration, tax, and regulatory changes, ensuring proactive risk mitigation and compliance across all mobility activities
  • Lead international relocation and cross-border work arrangements in collaboration with tax, legal, and HR teams
  • Own business travel compliance frameworks, including work authorization, visa requirements, and permanent establishment risk
  • Drive automation and AI adoption to streamline mobility operations and reduce manual processes
  • Manage external legal and tax vendors, including SLA definition, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement
  • Optimize mobility workflows within Workday and related HR systems to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Build scalable reporting and operational visibility for leadership on mobility activity and risk exposure
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in Global Mobility, Immigration, or international HR operations
  • Strong expertise in US and Canadian immigration processes, with knowledge of global mobility frameworks
  • Proven experience designing and scaling operational programs in complex, multi-country environments
  • Strong understanding of immigration compliance, tax implications, and cross-border employment risks
  • Experience managing external legal and service vendors, including performance and SLA oversight
  • Hands-on experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms and case management systems
  • Strong interest or experience in AI, automation, and technology-driven process improvement
  • Ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders on complex compliance and talent mobility decisions
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to design scalable, process-driven solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with a consultative and business-partner mindset
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range: $114,200 – $152,800 USD depending on experience and location
  • Annual performance bonus and equity participation
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage (including high employer contribution options)
  • Flexible paid time off and supportive work-life balance policies
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching
  • Parental leave and family-building support, including fertility and adoption assistance
  • Mental health, wellness, and telehealth support services
  • Financial planning tools and employee assistance programs
  • Flexible, remote-friendly work environment
  • Learning, leadership development, and career growth programs.
